The Green Files > US gov't report: Climate change threatens water, crops, everything ...
[Green Daily] A report from 38 scientists from 16 US government agencies says that over the next 25 years, global warming is likely to lead to a wide range of new environmental problems such as water shortages, crop failures, and the spread of invasive insect species. The U.S. Climate Change Science Program takes a shorter term view than previous studies, which have often focused on the effects of climate change 50 or 100 years out.
