The Green Files > "Sell the car and walk."
[Apanthropinization] Michael O'Leary, the ebullient head of Ryanair, hit one nail on the head when he told those concerned about climate change: "Sell your car and walk." That advice would have made Mr O'Leary a national villain in the United States, where the right to cheap gas is assumed to be a clause of the constitution. For one reason or another, the reign of oil must come to an end.

[Waxbanks.typepad.com] Wax Banks: Reading: I tend to read a lot of blog-punditry (less now that I'm not reading and writing basically all day long), and much of it is of a political bent. There seems to be a shared concern on the left-of-center for the fate of poor 'conservatives' (about which quotes more in a second), tied to very real puzzlement: Why in Christ's name would anyone endorse a leader whose message is essentially faux-spiritual, but whose policies are nakedly cynical and selfish?
[Dartlog.net] The Dartmouth Review: Newswire: I really like these two incarnations of the guys, they're interesting and confused and I like that we get to watch them take this whole journey of figuring things out. Abigale has a lot more stories here.
