The Green Files > Google Wave as an RPG environment - Boing Boing
[Boing Boing] Unfortunately for those of us who are more into the tactical side of RPGs, it isn't yet well-suited to a game that involves either a lot of dice rolling or careful tracking of player and NPC positions. Right now, Wave bots are hard to get working reliably and widgets are scarce, which means that if you don't want to use the standard dice bot that Wave debuted with (dice bots are an old IRC favorite) then there isn't really another convenient option;

When we do get to the Immortal Robot Spaceman Spiff era, I fully expect to see user-generated video here of baby 'bots taking their clunky first steps through the gardens of tower farms pollinated by tiny aerial drones.

[Bill Cara] Bill Cara: Cara's Commentary & Community Chat, Tues., Oct. 7, 2008 ...: I saw that Industrials (XLI) were outperforming even Staples (XLP) and I had been thinking about the iStockAnalyst interview on Saturday when I mentioned that Boeing were still making planes yada yada. [Martin D. Weiss' Blog] The tale of two investors; which one are you? | Martin D. Weiss' Blog: I keep hearing about- which especially seem focused on crushing the double inverse ETF’s you have recommended in the past,such as SRS, QID, etc which seemed like such logical choices as hedges- so as an investor, either long or short-term, it seems like a crap- shoot as opposed to an exercise in sensibility. That being said, I have followed your advice and am 80% short term Treasuries, and 20% stocks, with a 20% return this year so far with alternative energy-STP, TSL , Ford, SLV,GLD, and your rec’s JNN and LPS bringing in the lions share so far
