I lived in DC 40 to 45 years ago, and I can remember they never could figure when the cherry blossoms for the cherry blossom fesitival were going to pop. It was always late or early or unpredicatble at best. Global climate changes are measured in thousands and millions of years not decades. I am so sick of people with their hobby horse agendas. Years ago a good friend of mine who worked in the heating and aircondidtioning industry delivered several big bottles of freon gas to the docks in Seattle. He thought it would be a large fishing boat or cruise ship of something like. It was a small Greenpeace boat. He asked why they needed so much freon because they had no freezers or refrigeration units like a fishing boat, etc. The idiot crewman on the Greenpeace boat told him that they were going out to measure freon in the atmosphere that was depleting the ozone layer (remember), and they always released freon into the air before taking a reading to make sure they got a good reading on their sample. Quite the environmentalists--quite the scientific data base. The sun is going to come up tomorrow people--deal with it.
