Deep oceans may mask global warming - Need to know - Macleans.ca

[Macleans.ca] According to a new analysis from the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research, Earth’s deep oceans might absorb enough heat to flatten the rate of global warming for up to a decade, even during a longer-term warming period. The new study says ocean layers deeper than 300 meters are the main location of “missing heat” during periods like the past decade, in which global air temperatures didn’t show a major trend.

Global Warming Alarmism Continues To Backfire - James Taylor ...

[Forbes Network Activity] The same religionists who have led the charge regarding an asserted global warming crisis were the very same individuals who led the charge regarding an asserted global cooling crisis. And not only were the same people leading the charge, but they were naming the same alleged cause (human industrial activity) and the same alleged consequences (more drought, extreme weather, crop failures, etc.).

Global warming

[Featured Articles - Encyclopedia of Earth] The term global warming is often used synonymously with the term climate change, but the two terms have distinct meanings. Global warming is the combined result of anthropogenic (human-caused) emissions of greenhouse gases and changes in solar irradiance, while climate change refers to any change in the state of the climate that can be identified by changes in the average and/or the variability of its properties (e.g., temperature, precipitation), and that persists for an extended period, typically decades or longer.

[Grandonk dot Com] Global warming is causing more hurricanes, more intense tornadoes, and CAT 5 cyclones- or so the story goes. But the truth is, as I’ve said before, while the carbon footprint might be larger, there are things out there in the universe that are far more capable of global warming- BIG TIME!

Unemployment Vs. Global Warming - Freakonomics Blog - NYTimes.com

[Freakonomics] Just because unemployment has gone up and global warming concerns have gone down doesn’t mean that one caused the other. It’s more likely, in my opinion, that the spike seen in 2007 was the great interest people had in the subject, causing them to learn more about the subject, and realize the truth that man-made global warming is bunk.

small dead animals: Global Warming Droughts

[small dead animals] Where are all the scientists now, who were predicting the droughts for the prairie provinces, as they studied their models of Global Warming, and now are strangely silent as facts now appear to speak for themselves, rather than depend on egocentric scientists and sycophants whose scientific work has been proven to be nothing more than musings in respect to Global Warming as they foisted their unproven theories, as scientific fact, on innocent and unsuspecting world citizens.

Global Warming Solutions | Global Warming

[Global Warming] We will find solutions to the problem of global warming by asking countless questions about the processes we rely upon to live. We answer these questions on a personal level by changing the habits, which build each of our carbon footprints and on a global level by insisting that social and governmental structure acknowledge the need for environmental protection.

The Twilight of the Global Warming Vampire | NewsReal Blog

[NewsReal Blog] For years, there have been numerous questions surrounding the data that sustained Global Warming.  However, it was the ClimateGate memos, leaked shortly before the December Global Warming Summit in Copenhagen, that provided the first glimmer of hope that this monster could be defeated. [It's Getting Hot In Here] First off, even if the American economy came to a halt, emissions would still rise, global consumption would rise and the US would be deprived of its capacity to transition to clean energy.  If he really wanted to help the “tens of millions [driven] into poverty and unemployment” he would not seek to tear down the markets required to produce clean energy.
