[@ Monkeysign] I do not have time for much comment right now, but RenewableEnergyAccess is running an article discussing the likely fate of the renewable portfolio standard (RPS) approved by the Senate last week. According to the article, the Chair of the Senate Energy Committee, Pete Domenici (R-NM), is “not committed to maintain this amendment in conference,” suggesting that if his counterparts in the House of Representatives do not like it, the RPS will be removed from the energy bill before the final votes by the House and Senate.
