Will Paris Hilton’s energy plan work?

Environmenthttp://features.csmonitor.com/environment/2008/08/06/will-paris-hiltons-energy-plan-work/ [Environment] While the statistics used to calculate how quickly more efficient cars could affect the market look correct, the statistics used to attack opening up drilling seem selective and incorrect. First of all even if all that could be produced is 100,000 barrels a day, that is a half a percent of the current 20 million barrels a day used and almost a full percent of the 12 million barrels a day if the cars were more efficient.

Are Hybrid Cars Too Quiet to Be Safe for Pedestrians?

Digg / Environment / upcominghttp://digg.com/environment/Are_Hybrid_Cars_Too_Quiet_to_Be_Safe_for_Pedestrians [Digg / Environment / upcoming] People love their hybrid automobiles because, above all, they sip rather than guzzle now pricey gasoline. The Design Environment

Web Design Articles | WPDFD.comhttp://www.wpdfd.com/issues/87/the_design_environment/ [Web Design Articles | WPDFD.com] Imagery: We have all seen web pages with the cheerful customer service woman, or the close-up of the two hands shaking - "closing the deal." This is clutter, just like the faded Matisse prints we hung on our walls in college with scotch tape. Imagery (photos, illustrations, icons) should enhance an environment by promoting a message or feeling.

Politics is the Art of Controlling Your Environment

bloghttp://www.mattfraction.com/archives/002963.php [blog] Anybody who thinks that "it doesn't matter who's President" has never been Drafted and sent off to fight and die in a vicious, stupid War on the other side of the World -- or been beaten and gassed by Police for trespassing on public property -- or been hounded by the IRS for purely political reasons -- or locked up in the Cook County Jail with a broken nose and no phone access and twelve perverts wanting to stomp your ass in the shower.
