[Untitled] Tenchu: Time of the Assassins Review // PSP /// Eurogamer - Games ...: But it seems they just can't resist setting game after game in feudal Japan, confident that the simple addition of a stupid pinball mechanic or giant crab will keep us enthralled. So here comes Tenchu: Time of the Assassins, which doesn't feature pinball or crabs, actually - but does feature ninjas.
[Untitled] Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 - Review - play.tm: But step outside of those and there are some distinctly dodgy looking textures that are often shown in all their (non)glory thanks to the otherwise beautiful TV style camera angles. Strangely some elements of the environment never seem to blend together all that well either, bushes and trees look like they've been superimposed at random while the virtual groundskeeper must spend his whole life ensuring the boundaries between surface types are kept unrealistically pristine.
[Untitled] Nintendic » WiiWare - all nine of Japan's launch games previewed: With Nintendo confirming today that its WiiWare service, offering original downloadable games, will launch in Japan on March 25, Nintendic has pooled together information on each of the nine titles that players in Japan will be able to pick from on day one. [Untitled] What's All This 'PlayStation Wars' Business? - Kotaku Australia: "SONY and other companies like it, have the benefit of plausible deniability," he said, "because the coltan ore trades hands so many times from when it is mined to when SONY gets a processed product, that a company often has no idea where the original coltan ore came from, and frankly don't care to know." He adds, "But statistical analysis shows it to be nearly inconceivable that SONY made all its PlayStations without using Congolese coltan."

[Technology: Games blog | guardian.co.uk] Ten stocking fillers for gamers | Technology | guardian.co.uk: Sega's tragic console is ten years old this year - or would have been if its life hadn't been cut tragically short by PlayStation 2 and a cruelly indifferent marketplace. At least now you can remember the machine in the most respectful way possible - by packing it full of tissues.
[Untitled] The Housing Bubble Blog » Bits Bucket For November 25, 2008: One rule enforced in my household: TV ads are muted, which keeps kindling desires for rubbish from enflaming, the emotions which lead to GIMMEE, I WANT, and, my favorite, I NEED.
