In a paper that recently appeared in Nature, Vecchi, Soden, Wittenberg, Held, Leetmaa and Harrison present intriguing new results which suggest that there has already been a weakening of the Walker circulation in the past century, and that the observed changes are consistent with those expected as a response to increases in anthropogenic greenhouse gases.

 [Radio.javaranch.com] Lasse's weblog - Al Gore talking about global warming: Being a keen reader of Garr Reynold's Presentation Zen blog, I had no choice but to follow his recommendation for taking a look at Al Gore's presentation on global warming on Google Video (Gore begins around 9:30 into the video). After watching the whole presentation, I can only repeat Garr's words:
